A standard lease agreement template is a basic structure which is used to formulate a standard lease agreement. By standard lease agreement we mean a general lease contract signed between a landlord and a tenant where the former leases a property to the latter to be used either for residential or commercial purposes. In some cases, a property may also be used as office by the tenant. The tenant has to pay a rent and security deposit to the landlord for using the premises and must keep the property in good condition. After the term of the agreement ends, the parties may want to renew the contract or can also give a notice during the term itself.
